  • Greening Communities project transforms waste land on social housing estates into new community gardens.
  • Community food co-ops launched by the charity provide fresh food for 34,000 people.
  • Our accredited training course written by the charity enables artists to deliver workshops in prisons. The charity has demonstrated the benefits that flow for society if prisoners are provided with access to computers.
  • The Buywell programme, instigated by the charity, has supported 100 convenience store retailers to stock sell fresh food and linked the shops to local schools.
  • Pupils have been supported to launch and run their own fruit tuck shops in 35 schools.
  • 145 groups were supported to launch a worker co-operative enterprise.

Empowering the individual, connecting the whole community.

Seeds for Growth offers community-based activities and programs for individuals who are differently abled (age 14+) by:

*Providing activities for personal enrichment and enjoyment through a variety of activities.
*Creating an environment that promotes the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of community members.
*Assisting participants to increase their involvement in the local community.
*Empowering individuals to strengthen their independence through daily living and life skills.

Seeds For Growth is a nonprofit organization located in Thurston County, Washington. We serve participants age 14+ who identify as being differently abled. Seeds For Growth was founded by a group of community members who are passionate about inclusion and acceptance of all people.
