Why Copaiba Essential Oil is Better than CBD Oil

You may have heard about CBD oil recently due to its rising popularity as a way to treat an array of ailments. CBD oil, or cannabidiol, is extracted from the flowers and buds of cannabis plants and is legal in all locations that allow medicinal cannabis use.

What is Cannabidiol or CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring chemical in the cannabis plant. There are three types of cannabinoids, and these include CBD, THC, and BCP.

CBD oil has been found to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antipsychotic properties, which makes it a medicine that may be used to treat these more serious conditions.

THC is a naturally occurring chemical in the cannabis plant. It is probably best known to provide users with the psychoactive “high” response sought from marijuana as it interacts with CB1 receptors in the brain, but that is not THC’s only use. THC can also help to regulate our sleep patterns, mood, memory, and appetite.

BCP is found in the cannabis plant, and it affects CB2 receptors when higher amounts are present. At lower levels, it can be found naturally in several essential oils including copaiba. Unlike CB1 receptors, this interaction with CB2s doesn’t cause a “high” response. Instead, it effectively interacts with the CB2 receptors found in the immune system to help reduce inflammation and provide relief from pain.

What is Copaiba Oil?

The Copaiba tree, located in the Amazon jungle basin grows to over 100 feet tall and has red fruit and yellow flowers. The copaiba essential oil is distilled from the resin of the tree which can produce up to 12 gallons in a single season.

Copaiba oil has been used for hundreds of years throughout South America for physical and spiritual healing and is very common to find in most markets.

Copaiba Essential Oil versus CBD Oil

When you compare the two oils side by side, you will find that they each have their own distinct benefits. Copaiba oil offers a much less expensive option over CBD oil, and the risk of trace amounts of THC in the oil simply isn’t there. This is because the oil is not actually derived from the cannabis plant, unlike CBD oil, so it provides a safe and effective cannabis-free option.

CBD oil comes from hemp, which is a part of the cannabis plant, so there is a chance that it will have trace amounts of THC even when not intended to. However, CBD oil is still legal in the United States because it does not offer you the high, but instead acts as an alternative form of natural medicine.

Other Benefits of Copaiba Essential Oil

BCP, which is found in Copaiba essential oil, has been found to help even more conditions when compared to CBD oil. For those seeking immune system support and oral health benefits, BCP may be just what you’ve been looking for. This oil can also be used topically to clear the skin and reduce blemishes, and when ingested can have positive effects on your internal health as well.

If you are looking for an alternative to traditional medicine, and want to help support your many body systems without the fear of trace amounts of THC, then Copaiba oil is a cost-effective and safe solution. You will not receive a false positive on any drug test, so you can rest assured that conditions can be managed without risking career or future. Copaiba oil is not known to have any side effects, and it is completely legal to use in all fifty states.

I’ve found this article very interesting and helpful along with another one by a Dr. Hill.
My wife suffers from sever nerve pain in her back legs and feet so we’ve been using CBD rub on her feet and legs every night for almost 3 years trying to cut the pain enough to allow her to sleep at night. We’ve tried CBD tinctures which do not have THC, any Essential Oil that claims some form of relief. CBD’s are not all equal I don’t know if I can name the one that works the best but we’ve found one brand that is giving moderate success but lately the pain has been unbearable. (Lazarus Naturals good products for a reasonable price and they have THS free products also)
As a last resort we went to our family Doctor and he prescribed Gabapentin 300mg before bed time. The first couple days it seemed to cool the burning sensation down and then all hell broke loose. The stomach pain it caused was unbearable and she lost all energy, was dizzy and couldn’t focus her mind or concentrate or do much of anything other than sit and sleep when she wasn’t racing back and forth to the restroom. So we went to the Dr again and he drew blood and sent us home. That night he called and put her on Metformin 500 mg morning and night and told her to take some 100mg Gabapentin twice a day and come see him in 4 days. She got worse by the hour. After a couple days she started shaking uncontrollably so Monday we got in to see the Dr. He said her Blood sugar was over 600 with the blood test so they checked it in the office and it was 300 so he wanted to up the Metformin to 1000mg twice a day! He also wanted her to start taking Farxiga and Trulcity injections – I have to pause here to state late Sept the Dr did a blood test and her blood was excellent, all levels were very good.
Farxiga costs over $633 and Trulcity for 4 weekly injections is over $960 – Really?
She took one Farxiga pills for 3 days along with the Gabapentin and Metformin and couldn’t even carry on a conversation. She STOPPED all the Medication and didn’t even try the Trulcity (after reading the side effects it wasn’t worth the risk)
Yes the Pain came roaring back but at least the stomach pain left and she could move around again and not shake like a leaf in a high wind. I found that I had a bottle of Copaiba Balsam in my collection of essential oils, so I added just 2 drops to the CBD Balm and rubbed her Left foot and leg to try it. I didn’t do anything to her Right foot or leg yet. The change was nothing short of a miracle. In one hour her left leg and foot stopped burning and tingling and just has a mild numbness and the Right foot is burning like she stepped onto hot asphalt. It’s been 4 hours now and no pain in the Left foot and leg yet.
So Far I think CBD Balm and Copaiba Balsm are working together giving my wife relief form the shocking, stabbing, burning pain.

To those of you who don’t think that EOs have benefits and work, YES THEY DO!! My EOs I use has helped me and my kiddos in many ways! Tea Tree cleared my nail fungus when the harsh chemicals that were prescribed by the Dr. did not!! Please educate yourself and try a good product, you DO get what you pay for. And yes I am a distributor with Young Living and loving my health without all the chemical laden products out there!!

You lost me when you asserted that there are three types of cannabinoids.

This whole ‘article’ is nonsense.

Ok I’m a holistic pharmacist working with all these types of therapies. You’re comparing apples to oranges. CBD has it’s benefits and is not dangerous. There is no studies or statistics to validate this.

Cost-effective is the same as cheaper. Cheaper doesn’t equal better. You get what you pay for.

Copaiba Versus CBD: What’s the Difference and How Do They Help Manage Stress?

The 21st century has seen great advancements in technology and medicine amongst a host of other things, but one increase that should be a cause for concern is related to stress and anxiety. One study conducted in May 2020 found that 31.9% of Americans suffered from anxiety and 33.7% were dealing with bouts of depression, while also suggesting that COVID-19 causes a number of psychological disorders, starting with stress.

What Are the Effects of Stress?

The body’s natural response to stress is usually self-limited, with adrenaline and cortisol levels dropping immediately after events that trigger your stress-response system. However, if your stress-response system is constantly activated and you are overexposed to cortisol and other stress hormones, it could disrupt almost all your body’s processes. This puts you at increased risk of many health problems, including:

  • Headaches
  • Digestive problems
  • Weight gain
  • Sleep problems
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Memory and concentration impairment
  • Heart issues

It can be difficult to know what to do when stress levels reach their peak or which products in the market are actually effective at alleviating stress. Aside from therapy and over-the-counter medicine, people are also opting for natural remedies such as Copaiba oil and CBD oil.

What Is Copaiba Oil?

Copaiba oil is extracted from the copaifera tree found in South and Central America. To get the oil, a hole needs to be punched into the trunk of the tree, where a pipe is then inserted for the oil-resin to flow into. Since there are more than 70 species of the copaifera tree, the oil-resin from several strains are usually mixed together. This oil has been used for a variety of purposes, such as the following:

  • As an anti-inflammatory agent
  • For pain relief
  • For general skin care therapy
  • To promote relaxation
  • To reduce stress levels

What Is CBD Oil?

CBD is a cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. However, unlike THC – another cannabinoid found in the plant – there are no psychoactive or intoxicating effects in CBD. CBD is also being used in the medical field as it has proven to be effective for the following:

  • For pain relief
  • For cardiovascular recovery
  • To promote relaxation
  • To combat stress
  • To reduce acne

Copaiba Oil vs. CBD Oil

“Copaiba is for the body what CBD is for the brain,” says Ruth Fernandez, Creator and CEO of XTEND5.

Copaiba has the same profile as CBD. Both oils contain cannabinoids that aid in balancing the endocannabinoid system (CB1 & CB2 receptors). CB1 receptors are found mainly but not exclusively in the brain and throughout the central nervous system, while CB2 receptors can be found primarily in the immune system and on the surface of white blood cells throughout the whole body. In short, the CB2 receptor is also a primary regulator of inflammation.

Copaiba can be used as a means to address several bodily ailments. It can be used as an anti-inflammatory, to provide pain relief, to promote wound healing, and to treat a variety of infections, including gonorrhea, strep throat, and bladder infections. CBD oil, on the other hand, is typically used to relieve anxiety, manage pain, reduce inflammation in the body such as in the form of acne.

Copaiba and CBD work within the same biological system, so people naturally want to compare them. However, it’s not really a fair comparison as Copaiba has benefits that can’t be achieved with CBD due to the direct bonding with the CB2 receptors.

“Copaiba is a fantastic CBD alternative,” says Ruth. “While our customers have had success with both Copaiba and CBD products, Copaiba is a truly special unknown oil that the world needs to know about.”
